Job Details Job Location: Convalescent Center - Nespelem, WA 99155 Salary Range: $20.36 - $22.58 Hourly CLOSING DATE: January 17, 2026 POSITION: Housekeeper II SALARY: $20.36 - $22.58, per hour DOE REPORTS TO: Lead Housekeeper LOCATION: Convalescent Center, Nespelem, WA Basic Functions: This is a Non-Exempt position. The Housekeeper will perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, local standards and guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, and as directed by the Administrator and/or the Lead Housekeeper to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Training: Requires High school diploma or GED desired of the applicant. Knowledge of housekeeping practices desired of the applicant. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc. Requires the physical ability to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 30 pounds to a minimum height of 2 feet and be able to push, pull move; and/or carry said weight a minimum of 20 feet. Requires the ability to make independent decisions. Must be able to successfully clear a Criminal History Background Inquiry that indicates no felony or conviction/s on the DSHS Secretary’s List. Requires knowledge of long-term care setting. Prior experience in a janitorial setting is desired. Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing. TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED. If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
