Description Southern Foodservice Management is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our team at the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center (ATC) in Mobile, Alabama. ATC plays a vital role in a variety of Coast Guard missions, including search and rescue operations, law enforcement, and advanced pilot training and certification. Hourly Wage: $17.75/hour + $4.93/hour Health & Welfare The Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Weekends and Holidays hours from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Weekend and holiday shifts occur every third weekend and every third holiday, with a typical weekly schedule of 35–40 hours. Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required. We are seeking a reliable team member who is punctual, professional, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Responsibilities Cleaning guest rooms, lobbies, stairways, and lounges as well as corridors Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos Replace dirty linens with clean items Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy Clean and check all appliances in rooms are in working order Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout Respond to guest queries and requests Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms Follow all company safety and security procedures Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards Observe and report damage of USCG property Help with Laundry as needed Wash and dry laundry from galley and rooms Fold and organize laundry Check your assigned key back in Follow cleaning charts and complete daily and weekly cleaning Perform other duties as assigned or directed. Comply with the company’s safety standards and dress code always. Set a good example for all personnel through appearance in uniform and work ethic. Perform other duties as assigned Why Work With Us?
