You're a quiet hero behind the scenes — keeping our village fresh, homely, and dignified for the people who live here. We’re looking for a hardworking, caring Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our warm and welcoming Whangarei village team. This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home. As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whānau, and fellow team members. Your day-to-day activities will include: Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilities Laundering, folding and returning residents’ clothing and linens with care and attention Labelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry items Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures Building friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs We are looking for 2 team members to cover shifts between Monday to Sunday 8am - 4.30pm. You ideally will be able to work one weekend day a week and be available to work a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 5 days per week. This role will commence on the 9th March with 3 weeks of paid training.
