PRIMARY DETAIL Housekeeper ensuring rooms and public areas are clean, stocked and guest-ready; assist guests with queries while upholding safety, privacy, standards. As a Housekeeper, you will work within the housekeeping team performing a variety of tasks to ensure guest room is correctly set up, cared for, and maintained to ensure the hotel and public areas are serviced and presented to the highest standards for all guests. You will liaise with guests to assist with any queries as required, while maintaining guest safety and privacy. Duties include Cleaning guestrooms and restocking guestroom amenities Making beds & replacing dirty linens and towels Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays Available shifts for this role are between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday. ABOUT YOU With some previous experience working in a hotel housekeeping department or commercial cleaning setting, you have strong attention to detail and take pride in your work. You have good organisational skills and understanding of workplace health & safety. You will be able to work independently and be a proactive team member. ABOUT US Lakeside Hotel and Conference Centre, operate an award-winning venue situated on the picturesque grounds of Macquarie University Lake. The conference centre is a seven-days’ a week operation, providing a suite of services that support the operation of U@MQ, the wider Macquarie University Community and Non-University business, and include 4 star 40-room hotel, restaurant, bar, café and multipurpose function rooms.
