Description Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of outpatient housekeeping functions. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for a range of custodial duties. Sweeps, mops, floors in various departments with permission throughout the workday. Trash cans are emptied from the rooms and offices throughout the facility. The facility restroom will be cleaned and restocked several times throughout the day to keep in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Required training with the Environmental Health Staff, attend required safety trainings. Responsible for using special safety techniques and special required materials for cleaning. Maintain confidentiality of information as required by applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Dexterity and ability to use equipment safely. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Essential skills and experience: Three to five years’ experience with building and maintenance experience. Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and special required cleaning agents for a health facility. Ability to follow oral and written directions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
