Oakwood is a Residential Care Home specialising in Dementia and Elderly Care.
We are looking for Housekeeping/Laundry to join our growing team at Oakwood.
Previous experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Shift Pattern :
Must be flexible to work over a 7 day period, alternative weekends
Our times can range from 0930-1430, or 9am-5pm - times can be flexible and discussed with the manager
Duties:
- To maintain the cleanliness of the home including communal areas and resident rooms.
- Perform general cleaning duties in rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and making beds
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring all supplies are replenished
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens
- Follow established procedures for handling and storing cleaning products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Please note that this position may also involve assisting with laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and sorting linens. Training will be provided for laundry-related tasks.
