Description Description of Company: For more than 100 years, Orchard Ridge Assisted Living has cared for seniors. We are a nonprofit and one of only a few assisted living's that have been awarded the Gold Excellence of Care by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare! Team members work cooperatively together to ensure all resident needs are met. We are currently seeking a full-time housekeeper/laundry attendant to become part of an extraordinary team. Responsibilities for Housekeeper: Need to have the ability to read, write and follow written and/or oral directions Relate positively to residents and their families Display a positive attitude toward the elderly A full job description available upon request Benefits available to our Housekeepers: Health Insurance – employer pays 75% Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance Accident Insurance Telemedicine Critical Illness Insurance Life Insurance ($10,000 employer paid) Vacation starts accruing from day 1 and is available to use after 90 days of employment Sick Pay starts accruing from day 1 and is available to use after 90 days of employment Scholarship opportunities 401k with employer matching funds up to 3% of gross (After 1 year of employment) Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Pay: $17-17.50/hr
Responsibilities
The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the assisted living facility. They must relate positively to residents and their families while following directions.
