Description SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Sunday -Thursday 11am-7:30pm and 40 Hours, Tuesday - Saturday 11am-7:30pm PAYS $20.00 - $21.20 per hour, DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set) LOCATIONS: Within the following Boston MA work sites: Food Service Building; 414 Harrison Ave.; 434 Harrison Ave.; 444 Harrison Ave.; 363 Albany St. SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Housekeeper will perform daily Bathroom/Lobby Attendant – Men’s Inn, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to work comfortably in the Men’s Inn bathrooms when in full use – cleaning would take place while in use. Requirements EDUCATION/TRAINING: REQUIRED: High school Diploma or GED Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions The ability to understand and speak English KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning PREFERRED: Knowledge of industry standards as applied to Sanitation and General Procedures PHYSICAL ABILITIES/SKILLS: REQUIRED: Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching and walking Ability to turn over twenty-five (25) pound mattress for cleaning Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds Ability to perform frequent and repetitive motions to perform all types of cleaning functions
Responsibilities
The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning of bathrooms and lobbies at the Men's Inn. Duties include weekly and monthly laundering and general cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor.
