Summary/Objective The Housekeeper for Public Areas will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks daily to ensure the cleanliness of public areas & facilities of the club, as well as employee areas including offices, bathrooms and other back-of-house spaces. Duties will include but are not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, moping, dusting, trash removal, wiping, and stocking of supplies. Essential Functions 1. Prepare and stock equipment, cleaning products, and supplies for daily tasks. 2. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all assigned Club facilities, including but not limited to the Clubhouse, Wellness Center, Cart Barn, Recreation Barn, Sales Office, and Comfort Stations on the golf course and other facilities added in the future. 3. Clean and sanitize bathrooms: toilets, showers, countertops, sinks, and mirrors. 4. Clean and sanitize the employee breakroom. Ensuring countertops, backsplash, and appliances are polished and cleaned. 5. Empty trash and recycling receptacles in all assigned areas. 6. Dust and polish furniture 7. Clean mirrors, glass, and other surfaces. 8. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors. 9. Perform high dusting on ceilings, vents, fixtures, and other elevated surfaces. 10. Handle all furniture, appliances, and equipment with care. 11. Report any necessary repairs, replacements, or damages promptly. Marginal * Assist with cleaning during special events or seasonal deep-cleaning projects. * Monitor cleaning and supply inventories; notify supervisor when replenishment is needed. * Support other departments with cleaning requests when assigned by the department head. * Respond to direct supervisor regarding cleanliness concerns in a professional and timely manner. * Assist with other cleaning tasks, such as patio, window, or furniture upkeep, as needed. Work Environment This position is an indoor and outdoor position that will be subject to weather conditions and other hazards found outside. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, falls, cuts, sun exposure, chemicals and other potential hazards related to cleaning homes and facilities. This position will work 5 days a week and typically 8 hours per day. The specific days to be worked may be adjusted weekly for business needs. Overtime is possible. Must have the ability to work weekends, holidays, and days, with flexible hours. Schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments. Travel There are no travel requirements for this position. Required Education and Experience 1. There are no educational expectations for this role. 2. Must be able to speak English at a level of “Good” or better. Preferred Education and Experience 3. Prior experience in a housekeeping type of position. 4. Prior experience in a hospitality or service related business 5. A high school diploma or equivalent.
