Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the smooth running of a private household. This role will help reduce day-to-day pressures by ensuring the home is well-maintained, meals are prepared in advance, and general household tasks are taken care of.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with simple cooking and preparation of pureed meals once a fortnight (full training provided).
  • Light meal preparation such as chopping, peeling, and pre-prepping ingredients for easy cooking after work.
  • Grocery and food shopping when required.
  • Household maintenance tasks including:
  • Taking out rubbish.
  • Light cleaning (dusting, wiping benches, cleaning surfaces).
  • General tidying such as making and stripping beds, folding laundry, ironing, washing, vacuuming.
  • Packing/unpacking the dishwasher and keeping kitchen areas neat.
  • Fluffing cushions and maintaining a tidy living environment.
  • Collecting deliveries and mail, packing away items, and liaising with the Executive Assistant where necessary.
