The Salthouse Hotel is a luxury eco hotel with 24 stylishly appointed bedrooms and suites, 6 eco lodges, a soothing spa and laid back bar and restaurant. We are situated on the stunning North Coast of Northern Ireland in the seaside town of Ballycastle and we host one of the most stunning views looking over Ballycastle, Rathlin Island, Fairhead and beyond.
We are currently looking for a hard-working, passionate and experienced Housekeeper to join our ever-growing team. The successful candidate will have a wide range of duties, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in line with the hotel’s requirements.

Their main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows and bathrooms
  • Establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures for cleaning and organising the hotel
  • Cleaning and disinfecting equipment at the end of their shift
  • Recording missing or damaged items
  • Responding to customer complaints or enquiries immediately and reporting any problems to the supervisor
  • Keeping to a checklist and also completing any other duties as required

This is a hands-on role; the applicant should have a great passion for delivering the highest level of customer service, keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise tasks.
