Description Activities & Responsibilities Wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens Make beds Replenish guest room supplies, to include clean towels and washcloths Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, common areas, restrooms, elevator, stairways, and exterior bathrooms Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaner Dust furniture and fixtures Disinfect and deodorize in-room refrigerator and microwave Return dirty room service dishes and trays to restaurant Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed Wash windows, door panels, and sills Empty wastebaskets Transport trash and waste to trash area behind restaurant Replenish bathroom supplies Deliver special order items to guest rooms, such as food, wine, or flowers Replace light bulbs as needed Report any damages or maintenance issues to front desk immediately Report guests’ items left behind and turn in to front desk immediately Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals Report to work for scheduled shift on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner Perform other related duties as required or requested by the GM or front desk Requirements Minimum Qualifications Reliable transportation to and from work Able to work shifts on weekends and holidays Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours) Able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop Able to safely lift and carry up two flights of stairs full laundry baskets and boxes of supplies, weighing up to 20 pounds Hotel experience preferred
