Description ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Health Services Department: Specialty Clinic SUPERVISOR: Housekeeping Supervisor/ Clinic Manager FLSA: Non- Exempt SALARY RANGE: $15.00-$20.00 ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for housekeeping activities within the CPNHS facilities, light maintenance and repair of small equipment. CPN Health Services personnel may be assigned to provide services to patients of all ages including but not limited to Indian Children and will require a criminal history background screening. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Perform and assist with housekeeping duties in selected areas of the health facility while employing/observing CPNHS infection control processes and procedures. · Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean tables and chairs, empty trash cans, restock products in the bathrooms and break areas. · Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner. · Move furniture, equipment, and supplies when necessary. · Maintain exterior grounds, walkways and parking areas. · Direct activities for stopping the spread of infections in facilities. · Perform other duties and projects as required by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: · Demonstrate competency and experience in maintenance and housekeeping, specialized in health facility preferred. · Ability to follow verbal and written directions and instructions. · Must be self-motivated. · State of Oklahoma Driver’s License in good standing is required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Ability to effectively use standard janitorial/custodial supplies and equipment to meet Health Care regulations for cleaning. · Ability to follow verbal and written directions and instructions. · Must be self-motivated. · Ability to communicate well with the staff and the public. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking. · Required repetitive lifting of heavy objects. · Must meet all health care immunization requirements. · Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. · Some stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing ladders, and stairs, and repetitive movement of wrists, hands and/or fingers both indoors and outside in possible inclement weather conditions. ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: · General clinical environment with frequent exposure to chemicals, blood borne pathogens and patient body fluids.
