REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

High School Diploma/GED required.
Six (6) months Housekeeping and Supervisory experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree preferred.
One (1) year Housekeeping and Supervisory experience preferred.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $18.50 - $24.05

Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and comfort in all areas. This includes managing inventory, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves supporting staff and improving service quality through regular inspections. The Housekeeping Supervisor will collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Ensure that the common areas of the Community including Guest Rooms are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner for resident comfort and convenience.
  • Ensure that routine and annual housekeeping of all living units are carried out according to departmental protocol and resident preference. Ensure that the resident’s personal property rights are followed by housekeeping personnel at all times.
  • Ensure that a stock level of housekeeping supplies, disinfectants and equipment is maintained to provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Recommend to the Director of Community Services the equipment and supply needs of the department.
  • Meet with housekeeping personnel on a regularly scheduled basis, and solicit advice from inter-department supervisors concerning the operation of the housekeeping department, assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and/or the improvement of services.
  • Make routine inspection of all housekeeping functions to assure that quality control measures are continually maintained.
