Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Environmental Services Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing high quality housekeeping and laundry services for residents and guests, in accordance with regulatory/legislative requirements as well as Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
 Cleans assigned areas, suites, furnishings and fixtures in accordance with established housekeeping cleaning schedule (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and procedures.
 Cleans floors, dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, disinfects where and when necessary.
 Launders resident bedding, towels or personal items, as per cleaning schedule.
 Reports observations to supervisor concerning structural and equipment wear, defects and malfunctions, and documents in maintenance repair log.
 Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliances, legislation and Company policies and procedures.
 Maintain the highest standards of professionalism by following the Company dress code and/or wearing the Company uniform.
 Participate in all Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Prevention and Control, and related activities as required.
 Attend all staff meetings and mandatory training.
 Reports any concerns with resident to care staff and/or Environmental Services Manager.
 Perform other duties as assigned.

 Clear Criminal Records Check.
 Up to date immunizations.
Education & Skills:
 Partial completion of High School and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
 Strong verbal/written English communication skills.
 Organizational and time management skills.
Working Environment, Special Skills and Physical Job Requirements:
 Regularly push/pull wheeled equipment up to 50 pounds.
 Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
 Use of cleaning chemicals.
 Exposure to variable temperatures.
 Bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for at least 3 hours per day.
 Walk and stand on a variety of surfaces for at least 3 hours per day.
 Flexible schedule with the ability to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: From $17.54 per hour
