Documented proof of disability is required before interviewing. ** The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is seeking someone to join its housekeeping team in Rock Island/Moline! As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibilities will be to carry out various cleaning tasks and support cleaning-related activities. This position is designed to cater to the fluctuating demands of the company's production efforts. This position will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, with a thirty-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 30 hours. By efficiently completing assigned tasks and assisting with cleaning activities, you will contribute to the team's overall productivity and success by ensuring sanitary and cleanliness standards are met promptly and by working independently. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to The Arc of the Quad Cities Area's mission to empower people with disabilities to realize their potential through innovative, quality services that promote advocacy, inclusion, independence, employment, community engagement, and personal happiness. Maintain a weekly schedule and daily checklist to ensure building organization through housekeeping duties such as floor care, equipment maintenance, reporting repairs, and securing storage. Manage inventory, follow safety protocols with proper techniques and protective gear, monitor chemical safety, perform snow removal and salt spreading, handle laundry, serve as a positive role model, assist at other sites, and complete supervisor-assigned tasks. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must be able to provide proof of a documented disability 2. Strength and flexibility to lift fifty pounds are required. 3. Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks independently required. 4. Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, is required. 5.
