We are a welcoming guesthouse in the heart of Llandudno, known for our high standards of cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. We’re now looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team and help us provide the very best stay for our guests.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred.
  • Experience in the hotel industry is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of hospitality standards.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a consistently high standard
  • Change bed linens and towels
  • Replenish guest supplies (tea/coffee, toiletries, etc.)
  • Keep communal areas clean, tidy, and welcoming
  • Carry out vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and other general cleaning tasks
  • Assist with laundry as required
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Ensure that all rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and clothing as required.
  • Assist with cooking tasks when necessary, preparing meals according to dietary requirements or preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe environment for all.
