Respond promptly to cleaning needs and unexpected spills to support a safe environment. Collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials following safety and infection prevention guidelines. Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment and report repair or maintenance needs. Help identify and report facility maintenance concerns to support hospital operations. Follow infection prevention, safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols. Participate in required training, education, and competency programs. Support emergency response efforts as needed during hospital incidents or emergencies. Provide friendly, professional service to patients, visitors, and coworkers. Work collaboratively with team members to promote a positive and welcoming environment. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent License(s)/Certification(s) Must have a valid Iowa Driver’s License Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read, write and speak English
