Description The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the private golf club's facilities. This position involves ensuring that all areas, including locker rooms, lounges, dining areas, and restrooms, are kept clean and presentable for members and guests. The ideal candidate should be dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented, committed to providing a high standard of cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize various areas of the golf club, including bathrooms, locker rooms, lounges, and dining areas. Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in common areas and workspaces. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to the club’s procedures. Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure they are streak-free and clear. Maintain well-stocked restrooms with necessary supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, paper towels). Assist in setting up for events or special functions as needed. Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to the Facilities Manager. Ensure all cleaning products and equipment are used and stored safely. Follow health and safety regulations and club policies regarding cleaning practices. Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, preferably in a hospitality or private club setting. Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping environments clean and well-maintained. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent time management skills. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others. Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as needed. A positive and professional attitude toward members, guests, and colleagues. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment. Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to work in various indoor environments and perform manual labor tasks.
