OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a four star hotel we pride ourselves on standards and you will play a key part in maintaining these.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
  • Experience in the hotel industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other household items as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
