Description Ayres Lodging Collective is a family-operated vacation rental and property management company based in East Tennessee that specializes in managing short-term rental homes in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville areas. This includes the Timber at Holly Branch, Norton Creek Resorts, and Treehouse Grove. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled maintenance, general construction, and general property upkeep, including operating heavy machinery and completing repairs to ensure facilities and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Responsibilities: Cleaning & Property Preparation Prepare and clean all rooms thoroughly, ensuring each accommodation is fully guest-ready prior to arrival. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization across all lodging spaces. Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and shared amenities. Inspect accommodations after guest check-out to ensure they are left in good condition and identify any issues. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces. Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and debris from the property as needed. Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including fire pits and surrounding spaces. Conduct regular audits of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure they meet company cleanliness and quality standards. Follow all company safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Inventory, Operations & Guest Support Manage, restock, and organize linens after each stay, ensuring suites are fully supplied with standard items. Maintain and organize the laundry cart and laundry storage areas for efficiency and cleanliness. Transport laundry to and from designated facilities (including off-site locations such as The Timber) as needed. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly used, maintained, and stored. Monitor the condition of furnishings, linens, and equipment, and notify management of any needed repairs or replacements. Support guests around the property by responding to needs and assisting with tasks that enhance their overall experience. Assist with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a positive guest environment. Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years previous experience as a housekeeper (preferred). Must be at least 18 years old (required). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Good verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently to interact with guests, the public and other team members. Ability to work under pressure. Strong attention to detail and efficiency. Interpersonal skills to provide overall customer satisfaction. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, climb, lift, push, and pull items weighing 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday. Must be comfortable working outside and in varying weather conditions.
