Description HOUSEKEEPERS – Full-Time – Generations Applewood, Matteson, IL Generations at Applewood is seeking Full-time Housekeepers, Day Shift (7a-3p), Days May Vary. ~ Every Other Weekend Required ~ Rate is $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities of the Housekeeper: Clean, dust, wash and disinfect all rooms, halls, bathrooms, fixtures, floors, doors, ceilings and walls as directed Clean water fountains, sinks, mirrors and glass panels in doors and partitions Clean ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc. Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles Requirements for Housekeepers: High school diploma or G.E.D. Housekeeping experience required Housekeeping experience in healthcare is a plus Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine housekeeping duties Personable and professional with residents, families, and a team-player with staff Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards Must pass a background check, including fingerprinting, if not already on the IDPH Registry of Healthcare Workers Equal Opportunity Employer
