HELP WANTED: RESIDENTIAL CLEANER

Location: South Vancouver Island (must have a personal vehicle for transportation to and from jobs)

Responsibilities:
As a Residential Cleaner, you will be responsible for both basic and deep cleaning tasks. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Requirements:

• Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to different job sites across South Vancouver Island
• Previous experience in residential cleaning is preferred however not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing cleaning needs
• Must be physically able to perform cleaning duties (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods

Experience:

• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred

BASIC CLEANING TASKS:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all rooms
• Dusting and wiping down furniture, shelves, and counters
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors)
• Wiping down kitchen counters, appliances, and sinks
• Emptying trash bins and replacing liners
• Making beds and tidying up bedrooms
• General upkeep and organization of common areas

DEEP CLEANING TASKS:

• Scrubbing and sanitizing baseboards, window sills, and doors
• Cleaning inside and behind kitchen appliances (e.g., oven, fridge, microwave)
• Cleaning inside cabinets, drawers, and closets
• Washing windows and glass surfaces
• Deep cleaning of carpets (e.g., steam cleaning, spot treatment)
• Polishing furniture and fixtures
• Other deep cleaning tasks as required
