Maesglas Care Home is situated in the village of Holt, Wrexham. We currently have an opportunity for a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our lovely home and be a part of our friendly team. We take pride in providing a welcoming and clean environment for our residents and their visitors, our housekeeping and laundry staff play a valuable and key role in achieving this. You should be able to show an understanding of Health & Safety, Infection Control, COSHH and the safe storage and handling of cleaning products.
We currently have 24 hours available (4 days a week, 6 hours a day) working between Monday and Sunday, you will have weekends off in rotation (currently every other weekend), however you may be asked on occasions to help cover extra shifts for absences.

• General cleaning duties around the home and residents bedrooms, including bathrooms and toilets
• Making sure that all areas of the home are tidy and presentable
• Deep cleaning around the home periodically
• Laundry services including washing, drying and ironing
