Responsibilities
  • Support our Residents by cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility ensuring a high standard of cleanliness as set out in cleaning and infection control manuals
  • Being of service and supporting the needs of our residents through interactions with residents, their family and visitors
  • Safe handling, cleaning and usage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Follow and complete the work schedule and duties of the shift rostered. Where required this could include: Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, as well as laundry duties
  • Communicate effectively with all employees to ensure teamwork and achievement of role is attained.
  • Follow all safe work practices and WHS practices.
  • Liaise with the Cleaning Team Leader to ensure that housekeeping is timely and professionally attended to.
  • Communicate effectively and empathically with consumers and their relatives to ensure their needs are met. Undertake all duties with the customers’ expectations and needs in mind.
  • Consult with stakeholders as relevant to the role, ensuring effective communication with the Anglican Care team and external suppliers in all aspects of service delivery.
