WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A CASUAL HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT/ROOM ATTENDANT TO JOIN OUR HOUSEKEEPING TEAM (ZERO HOURS CONTRACT) WHO MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO COVER SHIFTS AT SHORT NOTICE AND AT WEEKENDS. IF REQUIRED, EXTRA SHIFTS DUE TO HOLIDAYS, SICKNESS AND BUSIER PERIODS MAY ALSO BE AVAILABLE. HOURS OF WORK TO BE ARRANGED AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.

The Borough Arms hotel is a destination for business and pleasure with 40 guest rooms, wedding and functions rooms to service. You will be part of a friendly and welcoming team who go that extra mile for our Guests.
As our Housekeeping assistant/Room Attendant, you will be personable, professional and have a keen eye for the finer details in your role. You will work well both as part of a team and on your own and must be reliable.

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, counter tops, and sinks
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Making beds and changing linens
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Ironing clothing items
• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Steaming and cleaning draperies
• Washing blinds
• Tidying up rooms
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements to the Duty Manager/Maintenance
