Lakeside Hotel & Spa on the Southern shores of Windermere (1 mile from Newby Bridge) is owned by Classic Lodges. We have 83 luxury bedrooms, fine dining restaurant, brasserie, pool, spa and conference suite ‘overlooking nothing but the lake’ We have a really friendly team and are always looking for positive and enthusiastic individuals to come on board. We are currently recruiting for the position of Housekeeping Assistant. Role will involve some evening work. The role of the Housekeeping Assistant includes Cleaning guest rooms, public areas and Leisure facilities to our hotel standards. Paying close attention to detail by not comprising on quality standards. Having a passion for guest service and taking ownership of the guest experience. Being organised and proactive in managing your tasks. React to guest requests so that we exceed expectation The ideal candidate will: Have good attention to details Care about creating an outstanding guest experience Be punctual Be friendly and able to work as part of a team Benefits Include Share of monthly tips (circa £1 per hour worked) Extra Holiday Days for each years service (max 33 days) Employee Assistance Programme – Hospitality Action Discounted Bed & Breakfast stays at hotels within the group (£25 per night) Discounted F&B (Food 35% & Beverage 50% - when eating) when staying at a Classic Lodges Hotel Free meals on duty Access to training course and apprenticeships Annual Long Service, Employee of the Quarter & Special Awards Annual Long Service Dinner (for those with 5+ years service) Group Annual Awards Dinner, Harrogate Experience is preferable, but not essential as full training will be given.
