We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an understanding of the importance of maintaining high standards in hotel cleanliness. Duties Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure all rooms are fully equipped for guests. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising rooms in accordance with hotel policies. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Physical stamina is required as the role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £13.54 per hour (Live out). A live in position could be available.
