HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT
Hambleton Hall is a luxury, 5-star country house hotel set on the Hambleton Peninsula above Rutland Water. At Hambleton Hall, we pride ourselves of providing the highest standard of accommodation, customer service and creating wonderful memories for our guests.
We are looking for full time Housekeeping Assistants to join our established and experienced team who look after our hotel, and our guests, with great care and attention. As a Housekeeping Assistant you will be working full time, no experience is required as full training will be provided.

Your main duties will be:
- Cleaning and preparation of all bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas of the hotel
- Replenishment of toiletries and consumables in all areas
- Supporting the maintenance team by checking and reporting any defects promptly to our Head Housekeeper to ensure our guests are not inconvenienced in any way
- Working closely with the laundry team to ensure all linens are sent and received in a timely manner
- Liaising with the Restaurant team with regard to room service provision
- Being mindful, and attending to our guests needs and ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded
- Other duties are included and will be shared with you at interview
Our Housekeeping Assistants have the following skills:
- Reliable, with good time keeping and attendance
- Eye for detail
- Self reliant and able to independently travel to/from work as we are very rural.
- Good customer service skills, presenting a warm and friendly manner and respectful of our guests needs and requirements
- Organised, with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- A good team player – happy to work independently and as part of a team
- Good spoken communication skills with the ability to share information with your colleagues.
- Honesty, integrity and discretion are very important to us.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week. Availability to begin at 7.30am is required. Your shifts will be worked on a rota system, working 5 days out of 7, which will include weekends (rota’d). A uniform is provided along with all meals while you are working.
