Job Description Avani Broadbeach Residences is currently looking for a hard-working, dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Housekeeping Assistant on a full-time basis. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the property. Working closely with the housekeeping team and contractors, you’ll lead and support daily operations to uphold outstanding standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Job Responsibilities: Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet cleanliness and high presentation standards. Supervise and support the housekeeping team, promoting a productive and professional workplace culture. Oversee on-the-job training to ensure consistent procedures and quality standards. Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including daily logs, inventory reports, and maintenance requests. Collaborate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Shift Details: Thursday to Tuesday roster Weekend availability essential Anticipated start: Late November to early December Hourly rates (excluding super): Monday - Friday: $26.70 per hour Saturday: $33.38 per hour Sunday: $40.05 per hour Qualifications Successful candidates will have: Previous experience in supervising or managing housekeeping operations. Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. A sharp eye for detail and the ability to set and uphold high cleanliness standards.
