As a Housekeeping Assistant at QLI, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within our facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall well-being and comfort of our residents. We are seeking a dedicated individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic to join our team. A successful new member on our housekeeping team will be collaborative with multiple team while consistently providing positive interactions with our social skills programming for our residents. You will be invested in others, optimistic, and have the ability to plan ahead and prioritize tasks. What You Will Do Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lounges, hallways, and dining areas. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in designated areas. Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs and handrails. Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Communicate effectively with residents and their families, addressing any concerns related to housekeeping services. Dust and polish furniture, surfaces, and fixtures. Empty and clean waste receptacles regularly. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to prevent the spread of infections. Performs other duties as assigned. What You Have Ability to notice and address even the smallest details to maintain a pristine living environment. Consistent attendance and punctuality are crucial to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Friendly and approachable demeanor when interacting with residents, families, and multiple team members. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure all cleaning duties are completed effectively. Demonstrate a high level of respect for resident privacy and confidentiality.
