Description

Housekeeping Assistant is required for 4 star boutique hotel, to work weekends. More hours may become available during the week during the busy summer months.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure the rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standard. You will need a keen eye for detail, good communication skills and be flexible in your approach to your work. Previous experience within a housekeeping role is essential.

  • Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Clean public areas and corridors
  • Prepare soiled linen ready for collection by laundry company
  • Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis
  • Report any missing or damaged items
  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Carry out lost property procedures
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Carryout any other tasks as given by the Head Housekeeper

Personality and character are absolutely imperative to be successful in this role. You must be positive and an energetic team player with the drive to deliver excellent customer service.
A good standard of spoken English is essential.
Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Own transport recommended due to location
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
