Position: Housekeeper, full-time Schedules: Independent Living Housekeeper: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm and occasional weekends. Health Center Housekeeper: 4 week days and every other weekend from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Position Summary: The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused cleaning enthusiast to join our team! This position is responsible for cleaning services to residential homes. Our staff performs a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties that exceed industry guidelines and leave a lasting impression on everyone they serve. Primary Responsibilities: * Performs cleaning services to residential homes daily. * Performs scheduled annual deep clean. * Cleans floors, furnishings, walls, windows, woodwork, and specified items. High and low dusting, sweeps, dry and wet mops, vacuums carpets and rugs. * Cleans all bathrooms, scours, and polishes tubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment. * Cleans and polishes glass panels, doors, and partitions. * Straightens and rearranges furniture, water plants, empties and washes wastebaskets. * Cleans building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways. * Removes soiled laundry and returns clean laundry to residences in an organized manner. Qualifications: * Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English. * Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, squat throughout a shift, and be able to stand/walk for up to 70% of the workday. * Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance, and push/pull on a cart. * Must be age 16 or older.
