Clarence is in the funky part of town, where the buildings operate large business deals by day, and the nightlife is a plethora of hidden bars and lane-ways of entertainment. The Clarence Hotel Sydney will feature 50 hotel rooms, gym, a Restaurant and 2 Bars once all stages are complete. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and concerns Restock guest room supplies, including toiletries, linens, and amenities Properly handle and store cleaning equipment and supplies Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction Maintain guest privacy and security of personal belongings Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to anticipate and proactively address guest needs Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals Familiarity with Australian hospitality standards and regulations Understanding of workplace health and safety practices High school diploma or equivalent preferred Additional Information About the Handwritten Brand - Charming | Dynamic | Local Handwritten Collection was created in 2022 to bring together hotels with a unique personality, intimately reflecting the character and warmth of the people who love and look after them.
