Housekeeping Attendant (Conrad Singapore Orchard)

The Room Attendant cleans assigned guestrooms and keep related room floors clean at all times during a shift, assisting guests with any questions they may have.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As the Room Attendant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • To follow payroll and sign in and out procedures.
  • To understand the work report and know how to utilize relevant applications e.g Inigma during shift.
  • To ensure trolley is adequately and properly stocked.
  • To clean, dust, sanitize and supply (including amenities) all guest rooms (including bathrooms) assigned daily, according to procedures.
  • To make a bed and vacuum the floors in a guest room.
  • To turn down and supply (turn down amenity) all guest rooms assigned daily, according to procedures.
  • To properly use all cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • To update completed guestrooms through Inigma
  • To handle “Do Not Disturb” and “Double Lock” room in accordance to procedure.
  • To keep corridors clean, neat, and free of litter in all assigned areas.
  • To clean and maintain the pantry in a tidy, neat and orderly manner.
  • To remove when necessary room service trays and trolleys to service area.
  • To maintain par established in all guest room for linens and supplies.
  • To assume possession of hotel keys during a shift and keep them secure.
  • To observe uniform and dress standards on a daily basics.
  • To offer any assistance possible to guests.
  • To report to Security office on any valuables found in guestrooms.
  • To report any maintenance deficiencies of guestrooms, corridors or service areas.
  • To respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Able to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Adhere by the hotel’s policies and procedures, Hilton code of business conduct, the hotel’s team member handbook.
  • The Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description at its sole discretion and without advance notice.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
