POSITION SUMMARY:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas in accordance with hotel standards. The role ensures a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests while supporting smooth housekeeping operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel/resort is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and guest service focus.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weights (up to 20 kg).

• Clean, tidy, and set up guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas as per hotel standards.
• Replenish guest supplies (linen, amenities, and toiletries) on a daily basis.
• Handle laundry and linen according to procedures.
• Ensure proper usage, safety, and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and materials.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and deliver excellent customer service.
• Handle lost & found items according to hotel policy.
• Maintain a high level of personal grooming, hygiene, and appearance.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
