Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stripping and making beds
  • Cleaning of bathrooms
  • Vacuuming
  • Dusting furniture, window sills
  • Conducting other cleaning duties as requested
  • Comply with Workplace Health and Safety legislation (WHS) and policies and procedures in regards to workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to undertake and maintain a valid working with children check
  • Willingness to undertake a Victorian Police check

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
  • Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Continually monitor practicality and effectiveness of processes and give advice on modifications as required.
  • Be open to explore, develop and participate in activities or formation initiatives that lead to a deeper understanding of the charism of Edmund Rice and gain a commitment to the Edmund Rice ethos.

  • Undertake performance reviews by Management
  • Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by the Conference Centre Manager.
