Job Purpose To maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience throughout the resort. Key Duties & Responsibilities Room Attendant Duties Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms according to resort standards Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures Inspect rooms to ensure readiness for guest occupancy Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards promptly Respect guest privacy, confidentiality, and security procedures Public Area Attendant Duties Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairways, restrooms, and staff areas Ensure public spaces are clean, presentable, and welcoming at all times Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with procedures Replenish supplies in public restrooms and service areas Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly General Responsibilities Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in an organized manner Adhere to all hygiene, health, safety, and grooming standards Follow Couples Resorts policies and departmental procedures Work effectively as part of the housekeeping team Qualifications & Requirements Previous housekeeping or hotel/resort experience preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Strong attention to detail and time management skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Skills & Competencies Customer service orientation Reliability and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic communication skills Commitment to cleanliness and quality Working Conditions Indoor and outdoor resort environments Physically demanding role Frequent guest interaction
