Responsibilities

General maintenance services, including repairing indoor and outdoor equipment
Bi-weekly checks and repairs of air purifiers, ice machines and showers
Monthly/quarterly checks of larger equipment, including HVAC filter belts, air curtains, kitchen vents and dryer traps
Ensuring fire safety equipment including alarms, exit signs/lights and fire extinguishers are functioning
Keeping floors, shower rooms, cupboards and beds clean and disinfected, with regular cleaning and repairs, as needed
Standard housekeeping duties, including cleaning bathrooms, laundry rooms, front desk, offices and therapy areas
Ensuring member linens are regularly laundered, repaired and replaced, as needed
Maintaining clean, sanitary and odor-free member activity areas and clinical spaces
Implementing a system to separate and clean soiled and contaminated linens
A positive, friendly attitude, ability to prioritize, strong organizational skills and a passion to help others is essential to this role. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED to be considered. Experience in a health care environment is preferred, but not required.
