Position Summary The Environmental Service Director is responsible for directing the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with established policies and procedures, applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure environmental cleanliness and sanitation at all times. Posted Salary Range USD $30.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the Environmental Services Department (includes department policies, procedures, position descriptions, etc.). Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures to ensure that the cleanliness, sanitation and safety of the premises, facility and equipment is current at all times. Develop and maintain a good working rapport with intra-department personnel, and other departments within the facility, to ensure that maintenance programs can be properly planned and maintained to meet the needs of the facility. Ensure the environmental and linen cleanliness and sanitation for patient/resident safety, comfort and convenience. Supervise/Monitor work of department supervisors/personnel to ensure compliance with directives and established policies and procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma/GED/HSET education. Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a housekeeping/laundry/floor tech related position. Must be knowledgeable in Housekeeping, Landry and Floor tech procedures and equipment. Must be knowledgeable of Federal/State and local regulations and laws pertaining to Environmental Services. Must have a reliable source of transportation.
