The Housekeeping EVS is responsible for maintaining and cleaning bathrooms, casino, administrative offices, etc.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Clean lobby, administrative offices, bathrooms, and casinos as assigned.
  • Clean and maintain outside appearance and cleanliness of the casino.
  • Follow all company and department policies and procedures and Maverick Cleaning and Sanitation guidelines.
  • Sanitize, clean, polish, wax, dust, and maintain all touchpoints including, woodwork, windows, slot machines, elevators, wall fixtures, televisions, floors, and walls in all areas of the casino continually, except the kitchen, throughout shift.
  • Maintain a commitment to guest satisfaction and exemplary guest service.
  • Remove trash on a continuous basis throughout casino.
  • Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements.
  • Stock housekeeping supplies as needed for employee and public restrooms.
  • Follow security policies and procedures and report all violations. Perform duties in compliance with
  • Ensure security of casino and guests.
  • Report suspicious activity to M.O.D or Security.
  • Perform related and/or other duties as required.
    Requirements:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE PREVIOUS HOUSEKEEPING EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE THAT INCLUDES:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to focus attention to detail.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekend and holidays.
  • Wear and maintain uniforms properly
