QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

• To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
• Basic computer operating skills.
• Team worker.
• Must be able to work within a busy customer orientated environment and an excellent eye for detail. Ability to ensure high standards are maintained and exceeded on a daily basis.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
• Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure.

MAIN SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Floor Supervisor will be responsible for maintain guest rooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.
Also coordinating daily housekeeping operations and maintaining the housekeeping operating standards in any shift, which includes: early, evening and office coordinator duties.
Also responsible for to delivering an excellent guest service.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the performance of room attendants, house porter and linen porter.
• Supervise room attendants.
• Organises and facilitate the room cleaning process.
• Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
• Confirm all housekeeping staff members have arrived or find substitutes for absent employees.
• Prepares and distributes the Room assignment sheet and floor keys to room attendants.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and pantries.
• Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
• Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members.
• Inspect all of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
• Aware of all room categories and amenities.
• Achieve positive outcomes from guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Deal with lost property, as per correct procedure.
• Report maintenance issues to maintenance department.
• Carry out any on job training requirements. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
• Work flexible hours in accordance with the departmental rota.
• Protect guests and colleagues security by never revealing any personal information or room numbers.
• Have knowledge of room types, other facilities and guest services within the hotel.
• Carry out any other reasonable request as directed by the head housekeeper.
