THE BUILDING, WHICH IS FULL OF CHARACTER, HAS BEEN RENOVATED TO COMBINE SCANDINAVIAN INTERIOR WITH VICTORIAN STYLE AND IT’S UNIQUE LOCATION OVERLOOKING THE KINGUSSIE TRAIN STATION, MAKES IT NOT ONLY ACCESSIBLE BUT UNFORGETTABLE TOO."
*We have also recently renovated and opened another self check-in bed and breakfast in Newtonmore, called The Braeriach. We’d ask you to work at both sites where possible.
We are recruiting a pool of housekeeping staff who are committed to maintaining high standards, a positive attitude and a great work ethic. Part time roles and full time roles are available.
Standard shifts will be in-between check-out and check-in, from 9AM-3PM. We have part-time roles available as well as two full time roles available.
The role is flexible in terms of days worked/hours worked per week and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule and any other commitments, tailoring the role to suit you.

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities throughout the building
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards and checklists
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Experience:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Ability to work within a team, little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly is extremely important
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
Skills:
- Hotel cleaning experience is preferred
-A great work ethic and attitude, willingness to learn and take feedback on board and maintain high standards
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Cook/front of house experience is a plus
