The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for supervising the housekeeping team including Housekeepers, Laundry, and Houseman. A Housekeeping Inspector provides leadership, direction, and guidance to the team, ensuring the guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest level of service.

EDUCATION:

A post secondary education in hotel management is an asset. Must have excellent verbal, written and computer system skills.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience as a Housekeeper, preference given for luxury resort and international experience.

Responsibilities
  • To assist in overseeing the performance of the housekeeping department.
  • Prepare daily room assignments and key distribution to room attendants.
  • Oversee laundry operations if on site.
  • Daily room inspections.
  • Communicate with Front Desk with status of rooms, checkouts, and stay-overs.
  • Input guestroom information into computer system.
  • Assist with cleaning rooms as needed.
  • Conduct performance reviews and performance management as required.
