  • High school diploma or equivalent training & experience.
  • Ability to read and write English is required.
  • Solid communications skills, strong interpersonal skills.

  • Candidate should be other country national (OCN) or local national (LN).
  • Possess a valid passport from their country have ability to obtain any visa required.
  • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
  • Prior overseas government contracting experience preferred.
Responsibilities

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Provide Housekeeping/Laundry services according to Air Force lodging standards. This position is in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and is located at Ascension Island Auxiliary Airfield (AAAF).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Launder all linens then sort, count, bundle, and store clean linens in preparation for reissue and use.
  • Ensure storage areas are free from accumulations of waste material, rubbish, tools, scaffolding, equipment, and materials always.
  • Clean the required number of rooms by shift based on lodging standards.
  • Make beds, changes linens, cleans toilets, bathtubs, mirrors, floors, and sinks.
  • Utilize cleaning equipment, including automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, wet mops, large wringers and other necessary equipment, tools, chemicals and supplies.
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests, co-workers, and property employees.
  • Ensure that the work area is safe, clean and sanitary always.
  • Assist in cleaning emergency spills observed or on request.
  • Maintain assigned equipment and reports needed repairs to equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures.
  • Report lost and found items to internal Supervisor.
