We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team at The Forum – Mountmellick Tourist Accommodation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, as well as carrying out laundry and linen management duties. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Please note: Our busiest period is from May to September. During these months, working hours may vary (typically between 9:00am and 2:00pm). Applicants must be available and flexible to work throughout this time.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect used linen and towels from rooms and communal areas.
• Prepare bed linen for collection by the external laundry service.
• Wash, dry, and fold some laundry items in-house.
• Sort, store, and organize clean laundry neatly.
• Monitor linen stock levels and report shortages.
• Ensure safe use and care of laundry equipment.
• Assist with delivery, sorting, and organization of clean linen from the external service.
