  • Position: Housekeeping Lead Hand
  • Monday, Thursday, and Friday: 4pm-12am
  • Saturday: 10am-8pm
  • Sunday: 10am-7pm

    We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Lead Hand to join our team at a busy shopping center. If you’re proactive, physically fit, and have a passion for leadership and cleanliness, this role is for you!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for long periods during the shift.
  • Proven supervision experience in commercial cleaning.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a commercial cleaning environment.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in a second language such as Tagalog or Spanish is an asset.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Flexible to take over shifts and adjust working hours as required.
  • Detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive, with a focus on problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the cleaning crew with their daily tasks, including:
  • Portering duties
  • Regular washroom checks and cleaning
  • Food court maintenance
  • Garbage collection and disposal
  • Addressing any additional tasks requested by the site supervisor or client
  • Step in to cover shifts when cleaners are absent, ensuring all tasks are completed seamlessly.
  • Willingness to adjust your shift as needed to ensure proper coverage and smooth operations.
  • Supervise and guide both new and current staff, ensuring high standards of work and providing support as needed.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and take initiative to identify and address areas for improvement in a timely manner.
  • Monitor supply levels, ensuring adequate stock for daily operations, and coordinate machine maintenance or repairs as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the on-site cleaning team, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
