As a Housekeeping Manager, you will show your leadership and interpersonal strengths to maximize the Housekeeping Operations, and ensure an exceptional guest journey. Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 What you will be doing: Lead and manage all aspects of the Housekeeping Department Ensure all brand standards are followed with friendly and engaging service Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests Maximize rooms cleanliness through regular inspections and retraining Assist with payroll, scheduling, inventory control, and supply ordering to ensure efficient department operations Manage labor costs and departmental expenses responsibly Assist with the recruitment and training of all Housekeeping Colleagues Ensure high morale and productivity levels through staff planning, recruitment, training and development and on-going communication including performance reviews and career development discussions Ensure workplace safety and compliance with health & sanitation policies Report and follow up on necessary maintenance items to ensure optimal guest experiences Other duties as assigned Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required Prior experience in a Housekeeping environment preferred Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays required Additional Information Compensation: $65,000-72,000 annually Visa Requirements: Successful candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
