Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary: Assist Director with daily operations of Building Services and Housekeeping.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist director in managing staff and daily operations for Building Services and housekeeping / laundry.
  • Participates in and oversees replenishment of all supplies and equipment in all departments which includes maintaining proper inventory levels in the stock room.
  • Track and maintain all spread sheets for equipment and supplies in inventory and distributed to the units.
  • Participate in and oversee sterilization /operation of all equipment returned to central.
  • Assist in placing weekly orders through the Oncare system while maintaining budget constraints.
  • Receive and check in all incoming shipments against the PO to ensure for accuracy.
  • Assist and participates in all monthly/ annual inspections and submits reports to Director.
  • Collaborate and attend all department meetings and in services.
  • Follow all fire, safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Report all safety/repair issues to management as they arise.
  • Perform any and all other assignments requested by management.
