Description JOB SUMMARY: We’re looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to perform housekeeping services, provide our guests with a safe and clean environment, and ensure an exceptional guest experience overall. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department including all the public areas and casino Lead, hire, and train housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies Document areas cleaned by housekeeping attendants and submit any issues that maintenance is required to repair Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed. This includes but is not limited to floor machine stripping/waxing and carpet cleaning Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies Be familiar with OSHA laws Must maintain all records on MSDS for all chemicals You’ll lead the housekeeping team, ensure team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol, and oversee the housekeeping department budget Requirements GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years of age Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English High school diploma or GED required Must have previous experience in casino industry Must present a well-groomed appearance 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position At least 2+ years’ experience in sanitation/guest services Applicants should be excellent leaders, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service Computer experience/Microsoft applications (is a plus) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Able to lift and carry 25 lbs Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the facility including casino Able to walk and remain standing for 8-10 hours with breaks Able to work at a fast pace in mentally and physically stressful situations Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright/flashing and strobing lights, and dust Be able to identify all housekeeping needs
Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Manager oversees daily operations, including cleaning public areas and the casino, while leading and training staff to maintain high standards. They are also responsible for managing the department budget, inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
